So, so pleased to introduce one of the sweetest gals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in the blog world, Kelly Ann Mount of The Flowerchild Dwelling. She is a wonderful photographer and graphic designer, which is evidenced by her beautifully executed blog posts and portfolio - and her music mixes are NOT to be missed! I love her free spirit and mindful insights on life, which she regularly shares on her blog (just look at her thoughts on the photos she put together for this feature)! It’s so refreshing to see someone be so open and honest online; it’s rare that a person welcomes you into her life without reservation, and I adore that unique trait about Kelly Ann. I’m so very happy to be able to share some of her sunny personality and outlook on the blog today!

I’m not much of a cook, but I’m kind of known for making a mean grilled cheese. For, me it’s ALL about the variety and experimenting with different ingredients… the one in the photo above has cheddar, mozzarella, and herbed goat cheese with homegrown tomato. (Fresh basil and avocado are also perfect additions).

My field. A place that has my heart. Tucked away in Southern California, this field comes to life every year with mustard flowers as far as the eye can see… with hidden paths & stairways, and families of rabbits as residents. This place always resonates so deeply in my soul, and it is the inspiration behind the name of my blog, The Flowerchild Dwelling. I know whenever I need peace, I can find it here. (The suspender-clad lady in the photo is my friend Sam, exploring the mustard flowers during a photo shoot).

This past week was weird, and it left me exhausted and discouraged. When I received a thank-you from a client, my attitude and perspective totally changed. It was the simplest, sweetest, most heartfelt of thanks – and it completely lifted me up and refreshed me when I needed it the most. Sometimes the little things can bring the biggest light to our lives, and that’s beautiful.

@ Kelly Ann – same to you, sweet lady! so very happy to feature you! :)
